This requires you to have an account that provides access our new customer service portal at https://my.swyftconnect.com.

  • Is fiber internet wireless?

No. The actual fiber internet service is from a wired connection that uses fiber-optic lines to deliver service directly to your home (or to a nearby node, where another cable is run directly to your building). That external fiber connection is connected to your router via a cable, and then the router creates a wireless signal that your devices connect to. • What is streaming television?

Streaming television refers to the delivery of television content over the internet, allowing viewers to watch their favorite TV shows, movies, and other programming. Many times, streaming tv refers to accessing programs through subscription-based services like Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+.

  • What is latency and why is it important?

The term latency is a measurement of the average length of time it takes for data to transfer across a network. Networks with longer delays – or lag time – have high latency. Those with faster responses (less lag times) have low latency. Connections with low latency experience faster data transfer rates and much less buffering. Low latency enhances video streaming, live video chats, and gaming much more.
