  • Is fiber internet wireless?

No. The actual fiber internet service is from a wired connection that uses fiber-optic lines to deliver service directly to your home (or to a nearby node, where another cable is run directly to your building). That external fiber connection is connected to your router via a cable, and then the router creates a wireless signal that your devices connect to. That wireless signal is what we fondly know of as Wi-Fi.
